Attention: To whom it may concern STANDARD OF SERVICE AND COMMITMENT Lift Contract Services is in the business of managing customer penalty clauses within their contracts. At the time of purchasing the business, we had some significant concerns specifically around the software used to manage the customer contracts. The software had a number of shortcomings, for example many of the business rules were hard coded. This meant that there was a high reliance on technical support for implementing change requests. Further complicating this was the fact that the technical support is situated in Australia. With increasing change requests and a more demanding customer base, it was becoming near impossible to meet customer needs.
It was at this time that we employed the services of CM Software. The team was faced with many challenges, especially since the base they had to work from was poor. They tackled the project with energy and enthusiasm.
Essentially CM Software had to understand the existing software as a basis for what is required, and then set about rewriting the software in such a manner so as to make it much more user friendly, intuitive and with added functionality to provide me with the much needed support to run the business effectively, while at the same time easily accommodating and meeting customer needs.
